Affectionate Visit to Fish Farm

One day in November several years ago, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected a mobile cage-net fish farm newly set up in the Taedong River. Seeing the whole of the fish farm, he expressed great pleasure, satisfactorily saying that Pyongyang City took the lead in cage-net fish farming. Going round various places of the fish farm, he earnestly instructed the officials to do fish farming on a large scale so as to provide the people with more fish. Exposed to the wet chilly wind from the river on the morning of early winter, he repeatedly stressed the need to make sure that the people enjoy substantial benefits from cage-net fish farming. His instruction was endlessly resounding in the hearts of the officials who were looking up to the benevolent image of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Every Party is Equal

It was one day in June, Juche 64(1975). President Kim Il Sung paid an official goodwill visit to then Yugoslavia and met its leader, Josip Broz Tito, who was green with envy saying that the DPRK was courageously advancing forward doing whatever it wanted to without seeking any foreign approval. Tito disclosed to the President his mental agony about suffering from some kinds of pressures and criticisms on the way of building self-governing socialism against hegemony. The President advised him that every party should arm their party members with their own ideas and policies without following others blindly and that when a man turned to flunkeyism, he would become an idiot, when a nation took to flunkeyism, it would fall into ruin, and when a party followed flunkeyism, it would make a mess of revolution and construction. The President added with emphasis that every party in the world is equal and they cannot be master parties nor servant parties.

Juche Philosophy is “Superb Philosophy”

It was September 17, Juche 61(1972), when President Kim Il Sung granted an interview with the press from Japanese Mainichi Shimbun. Seated on a humble chair by a small side table, he gave a logical and persuasive explanation of the circumstances of origination of the Juche idea to the correspondents, who were eagerly waiting for it. The President delineated the position and role of man in the world, and clarified the philosophical foundation of the Juche idea and the new philosophical principle that man is the master of everything and decides everything, and nothing in the world is more precious and stronger than man. Although they themselves were well-versed in “Materialism and Empirical Criticism” by Lenin and “On Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism” by Stalin, as well as “Anti Duhring”, “Natural Dialectic” and “Feuerbach and the End of German Classical Philosophy”, they were so fascinated by the profound principle of Juche philosophy which constitutes the supreme essentials of the history of human philosophy that they were unaware of themselves clapping their hands with cheers. That was because Juche philosophy centred on man is a completely new one that denies no classics and copies nothing from them. That is why no sooner had the answers by the President that day to the questions from Mainichi Shimbun “On Some Problems of Our Party’s Juche Idea and the Government of the Republic’s Internal and External Policies” been carried on the publications than it created a great sensation throughout the world. An Indian follower of the Juche idea expressed his view as follows: “President Kim Il Sung, by originating the Juche philosophy, corroborated that there is no limit to the human thinking and inquiry. There is no genius comparable to the President in the world in terms of the boundless faculties of thinking and inquiry. In general, academic studies, whichever it may be, cannot exist without thinking and inquiry. Among them, philosophy is the supreme study of high-level thinking and moreover, the Juche philosophy is philosophical philosophy, a real great philosophy. Juche philosophy is great, its originator is great and his wisdom which ensures such clear-cut enunciation is yet great. It is the superb one that deserves to be praised sky-high. The President, who has illuminated the way ahead of mankind with the sunlight of Juche, is indeed a great human sun. He is the only one to be admired as the sun in the world.” This was none other than the unbounded sincere admiration of humans.

Warm Sincerity

A grand military parade to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea took place with splendor at Kim Il Sung Square on October 10, Juche 109(2020). On the tribune of the square, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the Workers’ Party of Korea, which paved the road of revolution filled with harshest ordeal and trials, has recorded this bloody journey with victory and glory, and its main secret can be ascribed to the fact that our people have sincerely trusted and followed the Party and defended its cause. That day he stressed that our Party will continue to implement and ceaselessly increase superior policies for promoting the well-being of the people and providing them with more benefits, and that it will hasten the ideal society of prosperity the people are dreaming about.

Though Small and Unnoticeable

One day in October, Juche 102(2013), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the completed Munsu Water Park. At the outdoor wading pool, he was friendly watching the people go down the water slide, when suddenly he told the accompanying officials that many of the people on the steep water slide fail to slide down to the end. After a while, he affectionately instructed that ladders should be set up at the middle of each side of the horizontal part for those who fail to get down to the end. This is how the ladders were put up. However small and unnoticeable the ladders are, in comparison with the enchanting view of the Munsu Water Park, which everyone feels impressed by, they fully represent the world of warm love for the people of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who gives the highest and absolute priority to the people’s convenience.

Be Aware of Motherland

One day in September, Juche 32(1943), the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung gave a task of drawing a big Korean map to a commander of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA). The commander immediately set to work. He brought several reference books and made a deep study of them. Finally, he successfully completed a map as intended by Comrade Kim Il Sung. However, he could not fully grasp the great intention of Comrade Kim Il Sung to have the Korean map made. Some time later, KPRA political cadres and instructors who gathered in the lecture room near the headquarters shouted with joy at the sight of the Korean map hanging on the front wall. As if they had never seen the picture of the dear motherland before, they were hardly ready to leave the map. Looking at them, Comrade Kim Il Sung said that he was going to talk about the need to strengthen the study of the fatherland nearing the great event of the national liberation and about some immediate tasks. Noting that it was necessary to be well aware of the history, geography and brilliant cultural traditions of the motherland in order to carry on the Korean revolution in a responsible manner, he explained in detail that only then, could we make a revolution in an independent and creative way in conformity with the reality of the country. His teachings bore the noble intention that becoming an ardent patriot and a genuine revolutionary surely requires great awareness of the country.
