One day in August 2023, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Kumsong Tractor Factory despite the sultry weather of midsummer. Back out after going round the production sites, the General Secretary looked at the tractors associated with the sweat and efforts of the workers of the factory. Then he suggested that he drive a tractor produced at the factory. During his visit to the factory in 2017, too, he drove a tractor to learn about its performance and technical specifications and give instructions. Now he personally started and drove one of the tractors. After getting off the tractor, he praised it for its gearbox and steering gear becoming considerably smoother and more comfortable than in the past, and pointed out in detail the merits and demerits of the tractor, including the height of the brake pedal, the position of the accelerator pedal and the strength of the spring in the driver's seat.
