One August day in 2014 the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Chollima Tile Factory. While looking round different places of the factory, the General Secretary said with great pleasure that he was satisfied to see a field laboratory for the development of products and analysis of raw materials arranged at the factory. Buoyed up by the General Secretary’s praise, an official of the factory proudly said that it was producing and supplying various kinds of quality tiles for major construction sites while measuring the intensity of concrete at the laboratory. Then the General Secretary told the accompanying officials that we should not rely on others but do everything by our own efforts and technology. When he reached the iron fence production process, the General Secretary highly praised the factory as a genuine patriotic factory and a smart factory, saying that it was also producing iron fences by itself and that it was very good that it set up a raw material store and a goods store with the iron fences it produced.
