It was one day in August 2023. That day, an official received a phone call from the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un. The General Secretary told the official that school uniforms should be produced qualitatively and that they should be made well by ensuring correct sizes and dimensions on the basis of their designs. If parents asked that the uniforms be made larger than the relevant sizes, margins of 5 or 6 centimetres might be given to the edges of trousers and skirts to be extended whenever the children further grew, he said, pointing to the need to study the issue and take appropriate measures. That day, with the intention of dressing children well, the General Secretary stressed the need to build a factory specializing in the production of school uniforms and shoes in every province to produce and supply quality uniforms and shoes to schoolchildren there. Thanks to the measures taken by the respected General Secretary, such factories were built in all provinces, unfolding impressive scenes of the Korean children going to and from school more cheerfully.
