One day in April 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children’s Camp, which was nearing completion. On the day he went to the newly-built football stadium, where he was very pleased all the time looking round the artificial lawn like a green carpet and the terraces that seemed ready to resound with the laughter of children full of joy. The officials accompanying him, too, expressed admiration one after another for the excellent appearance of the stadium. At that time, he said in a low voice that the stadium should be equipped with floodlighting so that children could play football at night in sultry summertime. Thanks to the warm love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, floodlighting was newly installed in the football stadium.
